Sam and Jazz met in Canada. Sam grew up on a property in Clyde, clambering around the stark central Otago hills and mountains, and Jazz grew up deep in the wilderness of Northern Canada exploring the vast arboreal forests. So when they met, it didn’t take long for them to fall madly in love. Jazz is an inspirational yoga teacher and Sam is the epitome of a mountain man, so they didn’t want a big flash wedding, but something simple and honest that reflected who they were and their love of family and the great outdoors.

So they chose to get married in the garden at Olivers in Clyde with a small group of close family and friends, and had their first look up in the craggy hills overlooking the town.

The moment I met them, I felt instantly at ease. Their love, warmth, sincerity and sense of adventure and fun where infectious and I know I’ll always remember them both.

Go Into The Wild With Toni Ward

Georgia & Ben’s Adventure Couple Shoot was gorgeous, it was a stunning evening after a stormy week in Queenstown, with blue skies and a golden sun…we headed for the mountain tops! Skippers Canyon truly is astonishing with layers upon layers of valleys and peaks, you’re surrounded by untouched nature and fresh air in your hair. Photographing Georgia & Ben was super fun and we had lots of giggles along the way, they were a stunning couple and loved being able to take them on an adventure. If you and your partner want more wanderlust in your life then you can find it right here.

BACK TO TOPSAY HELLO

Stacey and Dean wanted to elope to Paradise, just 15 minutes drive past Glenorchy. Stacey is from the UK and Dean is from OZ, and they met through a mutual friend who invited Stacey to a party at Dean’s house. She was travelling and said why not, and Dean noticed her amazing warmth and smile the moment she walked in. Not really looking for anything serious, Stacey had fun with Dean and then kept travelling. But he surprised her by taking two weeks off work and coming travelling with her. After that it was pretty clear they had something special and after some long distance dating, Stacey finally moved to OZ to live with Dean who was restoring a beautiful old house as a ‘wedding’ present. The couple decided to elope to New Zealand as they wanted to do something just for them with only a few close friends. The day was spectacular and Paradise is such an incredible spot, that their day was nothing short of perfect.
