Go Into The Wild With Toni Ward

Georgia & Ben’s Adventure Couple Shoot was gorgeous, it was a stunning evening after a stormy week in Queenstown, with blue skies and a golden sun…we headed for the mountain tops! Skippers Canyon truly is astonishing with layers upon layers of valleys and peaks, you’re surrounded by untouched nature and fresh air in your hair. Photographing Georgia & Ben was super fun and we had lots of giggles along the way, they were a stunning couple and loved being able to take them on an adventure. If you and your partner want more wanderlust in your life then you can find it right here.

BACK TO TOPSAY HELLO

Stacey and Dean wanted to elope to Paradise, just 15 minutes drive past Glenorchy. Stacey is from the UK and Dean is from OZ, and they met through a mutual friend who invited Stacey to a party at Dean’s house. She was travelling and said why not, and Dean noticed her amazing warmth and smile the moment she walked in. Not really looking for anything serious, Stacey had fun with Dean and then kept travelling. But he surprised her by taking two weeks off work and coming travelling with her. After that it was pretty clear they had something special and after some long distance dating, Stacey finally moved to OZ to live with Dean who was restoring a beautiful old house as a ‘wedding’ present. The couple decided to elope to New Zealand as they wanted to do something just for them with only a few close friends. The day was spectacular and Paradise is such an incredible spot, that their day was nothing short of perfect.

BACK TO TOPSAY HELLO

It was the second time around for Cathy and Bill and their love was so full of joy and thanks. Since they met a few years ago, they have travelled the globe together having fun, and have such a mutual respect and appreciation for each other. You could tell they felt so blessed to have found each other later in life. Someone to enjoy all of life’s wonders with again:)

Cathy and Bill are both from the U.S and had dreamed of eloping to New Zealand. They saw some of my photos from an elopement at Mount Nicholas Station across the lake from Queenstown, and fell in love with the wild and rustic look of the farm. We organised a special ceremony for them up at the first settler’s stone cottage, and then jumped in a helicopter to fly up into the back country for sunset. It was a leap of faith on their behalf, having never been here before, but we were blessed with an amazing day and they were blown away by the whole experience!

Pure magic was the way they described the day:)
