PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMS THAT TELL STORIES
I want to create a set of wedding photo’s or film that surpasses anything you thought possible. I see it as a chance to capture one of the most special days in your life by creating something beautiful and honest. It is an absolute joy to be doing what I do and I work hard to never take it for granted. I approach each wedding with a kind of beginners mind, awake to what is actually happening, rather than contriving things to look a specific way. I find this approach sets me free, so I can produce an original and genuine collection of photos or a film at every wedding.
LIFE AS ART
I worked as a journalist for magazines and television for 15 years before beginning my wedding photography business, so telling stories has been my life. For the past five years I made documentaries with the BBC all over the world and I always had my trusty camera by my side. I love to photograph and film real life characters and find beauty in everyday life. We’ve all got a story to tell. Weddings are full of fun and unique characters all thrown together to celebrate the union of two people they love. I really enjoy meeting everyone and often marvel at the coming together of two families from different sides of the tracks, or opposite sides of the worlds etc. So interesting and inspiring!
THE EXPERIENCE
The experience I invite you to be part of is a collaboration that starts from the moment we connect for the first time. My promise to you is that we’ll have a whole lot of fun on the way to us creating an inspired and moving collection of photographs or film.
PRICING
My packages are a reflection of what I would want if I was getting married again. There’s a range of choices for all the opportunities Queenstown has to offer like heli-weddings, or elopements.
